Dr. Wong received his PhD from Stanford University and is a senior member of IEEE. He has been involved in teaching, research and development in wireless technology for many years. He has written books on “Wireless Internet Telecommunications” (Artech House), and “Fundamentals of Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies ” (John Wiley & Sons)
Dr. Wong has offered tutorials and short courses to students from industry, academia and government and from around the world. The short courses have been about wireless network architectures and evolution of wireless networks, mobility management and mobility protocols for wireless networks, and broad surveys of wireless technologies. Students have come from organizations as diverse as the European Patent Office, the government of the Bahamas, Nasa, Agilent, AT&T, Harris, HP, Honeywell, Hughes, KDDI, Lockheed Martin, Lucent, Merl, Mitre, Motorola, NEC, Opnet, SBC, Sony, etc., and universities in the US, Europe and Asia.
Dr. Wong is in IEEE Comsoc’s panel of training instructors (as detailed on their web site http://www.comsoc.org/training/instructor-biographies) and in this capacity he has conducted many webinar online trainings on LTE & other topics in wireless communications, with excellent ratings from the students.
Duration of training is either three days, Monday to Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm (Malaysian Time) or 8.00am to 5.00pm (European Time) online interactive training and the training fees is RM 4000.
Or five days , Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (Malaysian Time) or 8.00am to 5.00pm (European Time) online and interactive and the training fees is RM 5500.
Training fees for Malaysian Citizens are HRDF claimable.
